Lusive Decor

It has been nearly a year since I first met a designer from Lusive Decor, a company that was virtually unknown.  Recently, I received a little note from one of my email threads about Lusive Decor and I decided to take a look at what they have to offer. Let it be known... I was blown away!  So many awesome pieces that I could have implemented in my school projects.

With such a variety of lighting ranging from contemporary to traditional, I think Lusive Decor might just be one of the best custom lighting sites that I have seen!

William Yeoward

William Yeoward has some of the most refreshing selection of furniture, case goods, and upholstery that I've seen in ages.  His pieces are definitely the show stoppers in each room.  I love that little bit of bling that each piece brings.  Two of my favorites are the Arley Mirrored Sideboard with beautiful chestnut wood and the Marcel Lamp with it's unique hourglass shape that definitely gives this lamp some va-va-voom!

Italamp

So thanks to my friend Christy, I've been cruising through my old Senior Studio folders from school.  (I'm a folder freak!)  I've found a whole folder loaded with resources that I haven't bother to touch in over a year!  Disgraceful!

I came across Italamp and their swanky lighting line... it's muy fabuloso!

I really loved these lamps in particular.  They look like those grocery twist ties that you get in the vegetable section of the market.  Very cute and contemporary!

I am guessing that this is one of their showrooms or exhibits.  Both the giant lamps and the seating lamp shades are produced by Italamp.  I think it's a cute way of making lighting very "in your face!"
When I see this one, I think "elegant octopus".  I can't help it!

Then there is this one, which is like the twist ties, but EVEN COOLER!  At the end of each strand is a little bit of bling (crystals) to glam it up a little.  This could make some fancy little girls' dreams come true!

What I really like about Italamp is that their line consists of a huge variety of pieces that range from ultra contemporary to ultra glossy, dripping-with-crystal pieces.  I highly encourage anyone who is interested in them to download their catalogs, as their website isn't as user friendly as I think it could be.

I really wish that I had taken the time to look through my resource folder more during my Senior Studio classes.  I think Italamp could have really given my project a lot more umph and a lot of interest!

Currey & Co. Minuet Table Lamp

So my first actual catablog will be about the Currey & Co. Minuet Table Lamp.  I know that this item has been around for awhile, but I still love it regardless!
Now, I love the flower details on the lamp base. I think detail like that is always awesome and that having tone on tone detail makes it real special!
The base is also something you don't usually see in all the other table lamps.  I might change the shade, but otherwise, I haven't been able to get this lamp out of my head!  I want one just like it!
