Conde Nast Traveler's Gold List

I found this little gem this morning! and I am in LOVE with it!

Why you ask?  Because I can look at hotels on my IPod Touch now!

Images from Cap Juluca in Anguilla.

There is also Small Luxury Hotels of the World on there which is great too!  I think it's one awesome app and I'm starting to appreciate this nifty little contraption called the IPod Touch : )

Update:  So I've decided to delve further into this mysterious world of IPod apps and I've discovered millions of apps have images of beautiful hotels and homes.  I can tell that I am going to have a lot of fun with this!

Some notable apps are:  Architecture: Pocket Guide from Makayama.com, and the Architecture Series from 29HD Network, LLC that includes Roofs, Modern Architecture, and Houses.  What's great about these apps are that they aren't just pictures.  They come with descriptions, addresses, who built them, and even WHY they built them.  I think this can come in handy in making me a little smarter than average ID student!  : )

Also, Fortuny (a fabric company) has made an app that showcases their entire line!  While I have never used Fortuny, I think that this is a great idea!  Can you imagine if Kravet made some neat app??  (I just checked and they do not have an app at all)

Currey & Co. Minuet Table Lamp

So my first actual catablog will be about the Currey & Co. Minuet Table Lamp.  I know that this item has been around for awhile, but I still love it regardless!
Now, I love the flower details on the lamp base. I think detail like that is always awesome and that having tone on tone detail makes it real special!
The base is also something you don't usually see in all the other table lamps.  I might change the shade, but otherwise, I haven't been able to get this lamp out of my head!  I want one just like it!
